I had a great flight here. Every time I looked out the window the view was spectacular. In Berlin, I couldn't resist taking my first picture of a tree in full bloom. Everything in Berlin is green. Everyone was out yesterday in the parks, celebrating May 1 with friends and family. The noise from fireworks gave me a rush every time I heard them (I suspect that that was from jet lag more than anything else). I already saw a couple of friends yesterday, and ate fantastic Lebanese food (giant portions!) for 3 Euro. I'll be sure to take my students there!
